Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The Foot Soldier is a generic ninja warrior and typically an antagonist in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) franchise. Foot Soldiers are typically aligned with the Shredder and the Foot Clan and are used as henchmen and fodder for the Turtles to fight.

The Foot Soldiers made their first appearance in the animated TMNT TV Show in 1987, which significantly altered their depiction from the original comic book. In the cartoon, they were robotic, programmed by Shredder and Krang. This allowed the Turtles to fight them without moral qualms.

Later iterations of the Foot Soldiers varied.
